Day 1
Rome/Assisi/Siena/Florence  
Morning departure to Assisi, a mystic city that remains filled with the memory of St. Francis. Visit the famous Basilica of St. Francis with its Renaissance masterpieces by Cimabue and Giotto. Proceed towards Siena, a monumental city entirely medieval and renowned for its Palio style. Continue on to Florence and overnight at your 3* hotel. (D)

Day 2
Florence  
Guided tour of the city of Florence, a cultural and artistic city of exceptional richness. Visit the Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with its bell-tower by Giotto in 1334, the Baptistery of St. John with its striking bronze doors by Ghilberti and Pisano, the Academy museum, and Piazza Santa Croce. Day 3
Florence/Padua/Venice  
Depart for the charming city of Padua with a stop to visit the famous St. Anthony’s Basilica. Continue towards Venice a splendid, impalpable, and seductive city. Here you will enjoy a guided walking tour of this exquisite city. See the wonderful sights of the Piazza San Marco, Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, the prisons, and a glass factory to admire glass masters practising their ancient art. Day 4
Venice/Rome  
Take advantage of the day! Optional tour offering a ride on the Venetian lagoon with stops to Murano, Burano, and Torcello islands. Overnight at the 3* hotel. (B,D)

Day 5
Venice/Verona/Lake Garda/Milan  
Depart for Verona, the unforgettable city of the tragic love story of Romeo and Juliet. Then a brief visit to Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy. Moving along to Milan and overnight at your 3* hotel. (B,D)

Day 6
Milan/Bologna/San Marino  
Panoramic tour of the city of Milan, including the famous Duomo. Proceed to Bologna, one of the most important university cities in Italy. Visit this medieval city and experience the charming Piazza Maggiore and Piazza del Neptuno. Then, head off to San Marino, the smallest and oldest independent Republic in the world. Day 7
San Marino/Perugia/Rome  
Depart for Perugia, a charming university city. Visit the impressive Palace of the Priori. Return to Rome late in the afternoon. End of services. (B)
