Day 1
Rome  
Arrive at your hotel and overnight.

Day 2
Rome/Siena/Florence  
Depart from the hotel at 08:00 and by deluxe motor coach on the Autostrada del Sole to Siena, gothic city constructed on three hills in the heart of Tuscany. This monumental and medieval city is encircled by its ancient walls and is famous for its splendid Piazza del Campo, designed in the shape of a shell. Every year, the famous Palio takes place here. See also the elegant Palace and Cathedral. Proceed to Florence in the afternoon and overnight at your 4* hotel. ( B, D)

Day 3
Florence/Pisa/Florence  
Morning city tour of the “Cradle of Renaissance” with its Dome by Brunelleschi, Giotto’s bell-tower, and the Baptistery. Tour continues with sights of: Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and finally the Santa Croce church. Excursion to Pisa in the afternoon. This quiet and graceful town reflects its past through the famous Piazza del Campo, better known as the “Square of Miracles” where we find the Cathedral, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the Baptistery. Return to Florence and overnight at your hotel. (B,D)

Day 4
Florence/Padua/Venice  
Morning departure for Padua and visit St. Anthony’s Basilica. In the afternoon, continue on to Venice and overnight at your hotel. (B,D)

Day 5
Venice  
Visit of this mysterious city built on 177 islands, 150 canals, and 400 bridges. Sights include the panoramic Piazza San Marco and the Doge’s Palace (external). Scheduled stop in one of the famous shops of Murano glass. Afternoon at your leisure for shopping or sightseeing. Overnight at your hotel. (B,D)

Day 6
Venice/Verona/Lac Garda/Milan  
Depart for Verona, the monumental setting of Shakespeare’s masterpiece “Romeo & Juliet”. Enjoy a panoramic visit of Juliet’s house. This ancient Roman colony is world renowned for its Arena, a splendid amphitheatre that is the home of the most important operas and lyrics during summer months. Pass through the largest Italian lake, Lake Garda, to arrive in Milan and overnight at your hotel. (B,D)

Day 7
Milan/ Republic of San Marino  
City tour of Milan includes the following visits: the Cathedral and La Scala (the most famous opera house in the world. Proceed to San Marino, one of the smallest republics in the world that still has its own currency, stamps, and has preserved its political system over nine centuries. Overnight at your hotel. (B,D)

Day 8
Republic of San Marino/Assisa/Rome  
Depart for Rome via Assisi. Stop in this splendid and mystic town for a panoramic visit of its Basilica and the Santa Maria degli Angeli Church. Late afternoon arrival in the “Eternal City” of Rome and overnight at your hotel. (B)

Day 9
Rome/Naples/Pompeii/Sorrent0  
Depart Rome along the “Autostrada del Sole” motorway driving through the regions of Lazio and Campania with a splendid view of the Montecassino Abbey. Upon arrival in Naples, enjoy a short panoramic city tour: Mergellina, Castel dell’Ovo Plebiscito Square, Royal Palace, Maschio Angioino and the port. En route for Pompeii. Visit the excavations of the famous Roman city destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. Leaving Pompeii, driving along the panoramic coast to arrive in Sorrento. Overnight in your hotel. Day 10
Sorrente/Capri/Rome  
Set sail for the island of Capri where, weather and sea conditions permitting, we will visit the Blue Grotto in small rowboats. Enjoy leisure time on your own. Afternoon departure for Rome via Sorrento. Overnight at your hotel in Rome. (B)

Rome
