at 8:00 am by bus to Barumini. Sardegna has two facades : one with
blue sea and fishermen villages and the other with flatness cultivated
that can be recognized by the traces of the Nuragic era. Arrival to
Barumini and visit of the “Nuraghi”” best preserved
construction of the entire island : the “Nughare Su Nuraxi”
is a fortification built on the XVIth century by the natives of that
area. Continue to Alghero. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (D) |

During the morning, walking tour of the historical center of this
city of Catalan origins, the bastions, the Spanish towers, St Francis
and its marvelous cloister and St Mary Cathedral with its belfry.
Afternoon at leisure. It is suggested an optional visit by boat to
the Neptune grotto or to bathe in the crystalline waters of the shore
of the city. Dinner and overnight. (B, D) |

Alghero/Torres
Port/Santa Teresa/Bonifacio |

| After
breakfast, departure to Corsica via Torres Port and passing through
Asinara Gulf. Then arrival at Castelsardo, famous village because
of its handcrafts. Short stop to continue to Santa Teresa of Gallura
and embark to Corsica (France). Arrival to the port of Bonifacio,
old Genoa’s fortress situated at the top of an aggressive promontory
that dominates the so call “Mouths of Bonifacio” and therefore
defends the port. Dinner and overnight. (B, D) |

| During
the morning, a city tour of the village will take place on a graceful
little tourist train. Free time. During the afternoon departure to
Old Port, walking tour of this vacation resort. It is situated on
the east coast and surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and cork
trees. Time at leisure. Return to Bonifacio. Dinner and overnight

| Breakfast
at hotel and departure to Santa Teresa of Gallura. Continuation by
bus to the Emerald Coast. After dinner in a restaurant (traffic permitting)
free time for a coffee in the famous “piazzetta” of Porto
Cervo, where it’s quite probable to find movie stars considering
that this port is the meeting point of the international jet-set,
since it was built on 1962 by the Aga khan. (B, D) |

at the hotel and departure to Palau to embark to Maddalena Archipelago.
Transfer to Caprera to visit the Museum of Garibaldi. Return to Maddalena.
Free time for lunch and to visit the historical center of the island.
