This
tour includes: Piazza della Repubblica. Via Piemonte,
the Aurelian Walls, Porta Pinciana, Via Veneto, and Via
Nazionale. After this ample view of an important part
of the city, the guided tour will lead you to the Trevi
Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and finally to
St. Peter’s Basilica. |

the splendour of the classic Roman Empire. We will make
our way towards Via Nazionale to arrive at Piazza Venezia.
We then visit the Capitol, the Coliseum, the ruins of
the Roman Forum, and St. Paul’s Basilica outside

Torto, and the Villa Borghese. We then visit the Vatican
Museums and Galleries and admire the Sistine Chapel as

tour includes: Via Nazionale and visit the Basilica of
St. Mary Major, and the Basilica of St. John in Lateran
to climb the Holy Stairs. From here we cross Piazza San
Giovanni and Via Latina to arrive on the Ancient Appian
Way, where we find the Chapel of “Domine Quo Vadis”,
and finally make our way to the Catacombs. |

Castelgandolfo

The
tour includes: Piazza della Repubblica, Via Piemonte,
Aurelian Walls, Porta Pinciana, Muro Torto, Villa Borghese,
Lungotevere, the Law Courts, and Castel Sant’Angelo.
Next, a short stop to St. Peter’s Basilica and admire
Tibernia Island, Aventine Hill, Circus Maximus, and the
Archaeological Promenade. Leave the city, passing under
the Porta di San Sebastiano, and skirting the Circus of
Maximus. We pass by Frascati, Grottaferrata, Marino and
make our way to Albano Lake and Castelgandolfo. Stop for
the Holy Father’s Blessing and return to Rome. |

A
wonderful panoramic ride. Along the way, admire the Caracalla
baths, the Arch of Constantine and the coliseum. This
will take us on the Appia, passing under the Porta di
San Sebastiano. Passing through Castelgandolfo, we arrive
in Albano and then Ariccia. Pass through Genzano, Nemi,
Rocca di Papa, Grottaferrata and Frascati, going along
the Via dei Laghi. Once in Frascati stop to taste typical
wines of this area. |

and its Villas
Crossing
Ponte Lucano, admire the Tomb of Plautius Lucanus before arriving
to Hadrian’s Villa. We continue our sightseeing with a visit
of Villa D’Este, famous for its water system, the architecture
of its gardens, the pavilions, and the artificial caves and fountains.
